One truth that we all need to come to terms with when it comes to marriages and relationships is that your partner can be attracted to someone else.

If she used to be animated and now zones out when you’re talking, or she doesn’t have that same spark when engaging with you, it likely means her mind is elsewhere.
People struggle to give emotional attention to more than one person at the same time.
So, if she’s already investing her emotions elsewhere, it’d be difficult to express them to you as well.
I need to add that what constitutes “distant” depends on the kind of person your wife is.

In the movie, Why Did I Get Married by Tyler Perry, there was a scene where his character confronted his wife for having feelings for someone else.
And based on their conversation, we could see that she didn’t take it further.
But she caught feelings for someone else, and that affected how she related to her husband.
One thing that stood out to me was that he knew something was wrong because of how exceptionally happy she was, especially when preparing for work – the guy was at work.
So, although this is an odd one, it does happen where your wife suddenly becomes happy.
Now, you might think a cheerful wife is a good sign – and yes, it is not always bad – but pay close attention if it’s unexplainable.
Did she get promoted at work? That’s explainable.
Did she get something she has been praying and wishing for? That’s also understandable.
But if she comes home glowing, laughing at nothing, or wearing a permanent smile, and you can’t pinpoint the reason, it’s worth questioning.
You need to know why she’s happy.

But if she’s now doing things out of the ordinary for no reason to look good, she might be doing it to impress someone.
It’s especially telling if she does this when she’s heading out, not when she’s with you.

One of the clearest signs shows up in the bedroom.
But it’s not always in the way you think.
Yes, one way it could show is her losing interest in sex.
